You may recognize this bolero. This is my second one. The first was for my lovely sister, made in Blue Sky Alpaca cotton. This one is for me, with Debbie Bliss Prima, a bamboo and wool blend. It has a ton of drape, so the bolero isn’t really a stretchy, fitted look. More like an elegant, soft, drapey fabric. (The same yarn from my fishnet stockings.) I like that I can wear it over long sleeved t-shirts to get a more polished look. I am so tempted to throw the whole thing in the dryer to see if it shrinks up a bit. Ravelry Page
Something fun to note – today I am the featured member on the Upper Meadows Farm blog. For those who haven’t been keeping track, Upper Meadows Farm is the CSA that I have joined this summer. So if you have been dying to know more about my food philosophies, check it out.
