I was so excited last week to come home to an awesome package from Nicole/Queen Puff Puff of Stitch Craft, in Petaluma, CA. She sent me this beautifully finished hostess apron (made from Morning Call Forks and Spoons fabric. It is darling! I love how the color scheme makes it really modern. I can’t wait to wear it! Through the Stitch Craft Etsy shop and in person at the store, Nicole sells all kinds of great fabrics, one-of-a-kind vintage notions, and lots of patterns from independent designers.
I also got a Stitch Craft 2009 magnet, which replaced the unattractive, 2007 magnet calendar from a local pizza place that was on my fridge. And since spring is around the corner, I am going to resurrect my long-standing ambition to sew a dress for myself. I’m attempting the Girly Dress by Betsy Ross, and have high hopes for it. I’m steering away from full skirts these days, and I like the simple lines. I’ll let you know how it turns out!
