This fast, fun project was a Spring Break present for my sister (the law student who also got those fingerless gloves!). She chose the color and the pattern. Blue Sky Cotton is definitely one of the most luxurious cottons out there. This took just about 1.5 skeins. The cotton doesn’t provide much memory in the ribbing, so I do foresee my sister will have to toss this in the dryer on low for a few minutes after washing it to get it back into shape. The pattern is a really simple seamed rectangle structure. Easy to customize for your yarn and your desired fit. I can’t say enough good things about the cotton. The color is brilliant – it’s super saturated and just as soft as can be. I definitely recommend the pattern and the yarn, especially if you are looking for a relatively fast project to get you in the mood for spring! More photos here.
