This is one of my favorite cupcakes. Chocolate cake, chocolate ganache with fleur de sel. Bavarian creme caramel filling. It’s from the Noe Valley Bakery in San Francisco. I have one more week left in the Bay Area before moving to the East Coast. My husband will attend graduate school and I will find a job. Our stuff is all packed and in transit, I have my knitting chosen for our one month road trip, and I have a few updates scheduled to post while I’m away. I’ve already started tearing up at all of the goodbyes. This week will have plenty of that, I’m sure, but also lots of sweet moments as I revisit favorite places with favorite people. And have several stops at favorite dessert places as well.
