I haven’t posted much about the Tailor Gibson I acquired in June… turns out she’s shy until her name and new wardrobe are underway. However, she’s not shy about getting into it with her new sisters. She took one look at the disaster of a summer dress that Tabitha was wearing, her flattened curls and bad lighting, and immediately sent her for a makeover. She redid her dress with a full skirt and a hand sewn pearl collar, and I set her hair in curlers. Results are posted below. Of course, this is all a distraction. I cannot think about Cloud 9, the new Blythe with a theme of a 1950s bowler. I cannot think about her because I already have four dolls to play with. I cannot think about her. I am trying a form of therapy where every time my mind wanders to her adorable bowling shirt and shoes, I pick up a project for my current B dolls and finish it. There should be a lot of finished objects in the next few weeks….
