I’ve been meaning to write more about the India trip, but the inspiration’s not quite there. And my new laptop is already in the shop, so I don’t have new photos to share.
I will share two things I’m really looking forward to. Spring Break, in just a few weeks, will give me the chance to see a couple of exhibits I’m super excited about.
The first is Masterpieces of French Jewelry at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. I missed it in NYC when I was there over Christmas, so I’m thrilled to get a second chance.
I am so excited! I’m going to buy a student membership pass, which will hopefully encourage me to visit often during the next year. And bring guests, too! 😉
In other cultural news, the new play coming up at the ACT looks interesting. It’s a world premiere, about the return of Japanese Americans to SF after WWII imprisonment. There’s a Pay What You Wish night on 3/29. Basically, you get in line as close to 5:30 or 6 p.m. as possible. You bring a donation for the SF Food Bank (usually), and be generous. Bring new peanut butter or something good, not the canned crud already expired in your cabinet. And then you can buy a ticket for the show for whatever price you want. I usually go for $5-10. The play is called After the War.
