This was a Christmas gift for my sister. Made from the Butterick’s 6567 pattern. I have done two of the aprons from the pattern very successfully. This version takes a lot of work because of the hand-gathering on the waistband, the contrast trim, and the two pocket ruffles. I have to learn how to do that stuff with the machine. 100% cotton. Very high quality stuff, from Stone Mountain and Daughter, of course.
I think my crafty new year’s resolution will be to make it through the mountain of fabrics I’ve acquired, patterns sitting waiting to be cut and sewn, and drawings ready to be made into prototypes. 2007 will be the year of finishing what I’ve started. I got rid of several boxes of craft supplies at the end of last year, and am really going to work on not accumulating new stuff. Except of course, on my trip to India. 😉
This is the first photo I’m posting from my new camera. I finally have one of my very own, so I hope to be posting a lot more photos in the coming months. Look for a huge Blythe Christmas shoot to be coming very shortly.
Happy new year to everyone!
