October has FLOWN by in a whirlwind of work, classes, midterms, cupcakes and guests. I don’t have many photos to share, as I’m still in a transitional stage with my digital camera. I have so many projects that are almost done, and I keep thinking each week that I’ll have the time to finish them.
Coming up, on Friday night, I’ll be at the City Art Gallery for an opening reception. I’m going to see some very special photography by Sherry Heck. If any of you are in the area, you should stop by!
Also on Friday, I’m going to the DeYoung Museum to see the quilt exhibit. I saw it years ago when it opened in NYC, and I can’t wait to see what it is like here in SF. The Quilts of Gee’s Bend has been extended through the end of December.
Projects to finish before Thanksgiving:
Felted slippers
Rogue (a cabled hoodie)
Lace Leaf Pullover
Viennese Lace Shrug
Projects to finish over Thanksgiving:
Christmas stocking
Vintage Beaded Gloves
Camisole
we’ll see how I do!
