This lovely apron is what I received from Mary Ann. It’s a dainty light blue morning glory print with an eyelet trim. I love it! She also included a dessert cookbook, the cutest vintage recipe cards (I’lve already made one of her recipes!), and embroidered handkerchief, and cards for making additional recipe cards.
And what did I send out? Well, I sent to Barb, who posted some great photos of it here. It was made from the same Buttericks pattern I used for my last hostess apron, just a different view. It was a lot of fun, but the gathers and ruffles were a lot of work. I also sent her some of my favorite dessert recipes. Here’s a shot of me modeling the apron in my backyard before I sent it off.
Oh! And my new PINK laptop lunch arrived today. I don’t plan to post daily photos of it, but I will certainly share the inaugural run and maybe a few special ones here and there. Best part is that it fits perfectly in my Jennicakes lunch bag.
Thanks to everyone for participating in the swap! Hope you all had as much fun as I did.
