So I finished my apron for the apronswap, and mailed it off today. I can’t post photos until the person receives it, but here’s another one I made for myself after finishing hers! Butterick’s pattern – B6567 – I did a different view for my swap, but this one was much easier. It’s completely reversible, and has a cute scallop of a pocket on each side. This yellow print fabric is 100% cotton, from Stone Mountain and Daughter Fabrics in Berkeley. The olive print reverse is thrifted fabric, kind of a 70s color scheme, that I picked up at the amazing Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale. In this photo, I had woken up about 5 minutes prior to its taking, and I don’t think I’m standing the right way to show off the scallops on the bottom. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Hopefully this will be the first of many fabulous hostess aprons!
