Is it time yet for my summer vacation? This is a photo on a long lost roll of film that was just developed. I’ll be posting lots of photos over the next few days, from Mexico, last summer’s trip, and my Easter trip to NJ.
Last May, I drove to Las Vegas, stopping to camp in Zion and visit Bryce Canyon on the way. It was gorgeous. These structures are called hoodoos. They are formed from the freeze-thaw cycles and erosion that happens with soft rock and hard rock in the same place. The hoodoos of Bryce Canyon won’t always be here – eventually it will completely erode into a steep valley. It was just breathtaking. This summer I hope to go to Yellowstone, and continue exploring these amazing places.
