I recently graduated with a Master of Divinity and relocated after 9 years in California to the North Jersey area. Right now my crafty lifestyle is focused on sewing, knitting and crocheting, cooking, and hiking. I also have a growing collection of Blythe dolls, and sewing/knitting for them is one of my favorite pastimes. Desserts, especially fine chocolates, are also one of my great loves. My big struggle is trying to balance having less stuff in my life and expressing my love of beautiful textiles and craft pieces. Find my work here, in Susan Beal’s Bead Simple and Button It Up!

Hi, I just saw your baby burp cloths in the Craftzine, and I am so excited to try my hand at them! I’m expecting a girl late Jan. This may be a dumb question, as I am very very new to sewing, but is it the flannel or the cotton that has the print on it? Or does it not matter? Thanks!
