Oh! My longing for vintage dishware has been satiated, for now…
I really wanted this cake stand, and after a few weeks of hunting, being outbid, etc, I found someone selling it for a buy it now. This is the seller’s photo – check back in a couple weeks to see a photo of it in action at a holiday party. I can’t wait!
I really like some hobnail pieces. Not all of them, but this one will have a special place in my house. Maybe it will be cause to reinstitute cake night in the new year.
This means I can no longer peruse ebay for hours on end when I should be writing a paper. Sigh.
